Preparation and performance analysis of a coking coal dust suppressant spray

Abstract Coking coal dust is extremely hydrophobic; therefore, combination with droplets in the air difficult and suppression challenging. Here, a suppressant spray for coking was studied order to improve of dust. Based on monomer optimization compounding analysis, two surfactant monomers, fatty alcohol ether sodium sulfate (AES) dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) were selected as components suppressant. The monomers combined four inorganic salts reverse osmosis moisture absorption each solution determined.
